Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. – 1 Peter 1:3.
Hope for the New Man is not of uncertainty. It’s an assurance of the promises of a loving Father. Sons don’t hope for something that has no definite outcome. Our hope is founded on the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
We have come to a LIVING HOPE – which is Christ in us. He is the Glory of the Father manifested through us. We live and move and have our being in Him. There is nothing to be anxious about in Him because we know that all things in Him are yes and amen. It’s a done deal.
As being born again, we don’t wait for God to bless us – we are already blessed – Ephesians 1:3. We don’t wait for good things to come to us from Heaven – we are made complete in Him – Colossians 2:10.
The finished work of Jesus on the cross is truly A FINISHED WORK. We are living and walking in that perfect life now. Just as we believed and received the gift of salvation, so also we believe that all good and perfect things will manifest in our life in the right time and in the perfect way.
This is our hope – knowing that what’s ours has already been given to us and now we live in the timely manifestation of it, resting and knowing that the Spirit is perfect who brings all things to pass in our life.
Hope does not disappoint. – Romans 5:5
