The Book of Jude tells us to ‘keep ourselves in the Love of God…’ God’s love assures us of His ever-abounding fulness in our life.
He is always for us. He is not the hide-and-go-seek kind of father. He said that He will never leave us nor forsake us. if we realise and experience the kind of love He has for us, we will realise that He is never more than a heartbeat away from us. We are his heartbeat! We are so loved by Him, every thought in His mind is about us.
So intense is His love for us, that He came and died on the cross in our place. He didn’t need to do that! He could have just started over or started something different.
He did it because we are created to experience and enjoy His love! There is nothing greater than the Love of God for us.
A simple knowledge of that love will set us free from any fear. Because we will know that He is for us and watches over us. Keeping ourselves in His love is about spending time basking in Him. This time spent with Him will assure us that nothing will come our way that is not of Him.
We are hidden with Christ IN God, our Father!
