When a father loves his child, the child experiences all that love in every way. The Father loves you! It is His good pleasure to make your life perfect in every way. When you realise that, you begin to cooperate with His way of doing things and avoid jumping the gun in impatience. He has prepared only goodness in your life-path and all He wants you to do is get to know Him. When you know Him you will begin to identify His nature in you and see His goodness laid out for you. When you identify His nature, you will know how He operates, and that will give you every reason to cooperate with Him.

What are ‘DEAD WORKS’? Anything that you’re NOT specifically called, purposed, or created to do… is a dead work. You are created uniquely and with a specific purpose. If you are not designed to do something in this life, but you’re doing it anyways, either because it’s the right thing to do, or it’s something that needs to get done… that’s a dead work! Don’t be condemned… and don’t let your conscience condemn you, if this is something you’ve been doing all this while. Jesus always steps in at the right time. We all come to a place of revelation in different areas of life and from there change our course by that revelation. Let the Spirit do it for you.

Anyone who’s in Jesus is one spirit with Him. – 1Corinthians 6:17. He is in oneness with us. Oneness with Jesus, by the Spirit is: Eternal Life. Reconciliation to the Father. Access to and relationship with the Father. Relationship and intimacy with Jesus. Revelation of the person of God. The mind of Christ. Revelation of the mysteries of Heaven. Access to and habitation of the Spirit realm. Dominion over the earth.

What’s it like when you ‘spend time with God?’ Do you read the bible or play some music? Or both? Maybe read up on some good books? Listen to messages? Praise and Worship? Or do you ‘spend time with God’? When you’re spending time with your fiancé or spouse, would you read a book or biography of him/her? You’d probably do that when they’re not around (if at all) or just think about them. There’s a time for reading and listening to messages and the Bible… and it’s very beneficial. This is the time we catch up on knowing about God and what He’s about. We learn from the experiences of people, and their lives.

There are generally 2 sources from where we get information. Our mind receives information from the 5 senses – that’s one source.

proskyneō – to fawn or crouch to, i.e. (literally or figuratively) prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to, adore): — worship.

Living in the Spirit is about consciously living by the leading of the Spirit – it’s about living in the knowledge that you’re in Him and He’s in you. It’s about resting in Him. It’s about letting Him be the source of information, direction, relationship, giftings, etc. Being born again is when the Spirit becomes one with you through the Word you received. Unless you are born of Water and Spirit, you cannot enter the kingdom of God. The Spirit is Life – abundance of Life! He is Eternal Life. We received eternal life when we believed Jesus.

The New Man is spirit. We are not in the flesh. We are One with the Spirit of Jesus – the first born among many brethren. Our identity is rooted in the nature and likeness of our Father. We are sons of God – created just like Him – as Jesus is, so are we, now. Access to the state of spiritual existence lies in knowing and believing this truth. It is as God intended. We are created to live and walk in our true state of being – Spirit!

The Armour of God is the state of existence in which the New Man dwells. It is a conscious state of being in which we are called to ‘stand’ and rest. Put on the new man, which is created according to God in righteousness and true holiness. – Ephesians 4:24. It’s not something we take off and put on again… it’s the way we are created. – We have come to the knowledge of the truth by which we have been set free. (John 14:6)

The human brain receives information from the physical senses. It processes this information to create a reality – this is called our ‘mindset.’ This reality plays out in daily life. The decisions we make everyday are based on our mindset. From the time we were born, our minds have been trained to think, based on the information our brain has received. This information has come from the world around us. By default, we live according to the ways of the world.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. – Galatians 2:20. When we heard the gospel of our salvation we were imparted faith that came from hearing that Word. Our human faith wasn’t sufficient to receive such a magnanimous gift of salvation, especially when we were still in sin.

The Head supplies information to the body. It is the source. The head and the body function together. Jesus is our Head. He the supply of all revelation. We function by the mind of Christ. The body is knit together by the Spirit to perform and function according to the will of the Head. Praise God that Jesus lives and breathes the will of the Father. Through Him we are the perfect will of the Father. You are complete in Him. He is the perfect Head.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. – 1 Peter 1:3. Hope for the New Man is not of uncertainty. It’s an assurance of the promises of a loving Father. Sons don’t hope for something that has no definite outcome. Our hope is founded on the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new Spirit will I put within you… – Ezekiel 36:26. The New Man has received the Spirit of God. We are one with Him. He is the Spirit of power, and love, and soundness of mind. Empowered by the Holy Spirit we have nothing to fear. We have the Godhead indwelling us.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. – 1 John 4:4.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God – 1Corinthians 2:12. Being one with the Spirit, gives us access to His mind – the mind of Christ. Every mystery that was hidden from fallen man is now revealed to the sons of God through Jesus. The New Man has been given to experience the Heart of God and His eternal plans through the Spirit. Jesus knows everything about the Father… and through Him we get access into the deep recesses of His heart. Through Oneness we get to experience the Godhead.

…I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. – Ezekiel 36:26-27 (KJV) A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. – 2Corinthians 5:17.

The Bible is not given to us as simply study material… it’s supposed to change our reality!

Studying the Bible to get information, or to preach an interesting Sunday message isn’t going to change you… it’ll just give you head knowledge – more theology! The Word is living and active. It’s a creative and transforming life force that changes and manifests realities. The Word is a person! He is Jesus. He’s not a topic of discourse or subject material to dissect. He’s a world of Glory – He’s an experience of life.

Isaiah 54:17 says: ‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.’ Before Jesus, the enemy had a weapon he could use against us and accusations he could beat down and overcome us with (see previous post)… He is the god of this world (a right he took from Adam) and has dominion over those subject to this world.

The New Man has a new heart and a new Spirit… The New heart is not the old deceitful heart of the old man. It is the heart of Jesus that runs after the Father. It is the heart that yearns for more of the Father. After being born again our desires have changed. No more do we desire the dead things of the world. Physical habits may cause worldly things to still look attractive and lucrative, but in our hearts we know we don’t desire it.

Praying in tongues is praying in the Spirit… Praying in the Spirit can also be by revelation.
It’s when the New Man prays. The New Man is born of water and the Spirit… we are spiritual beings. When we pray in tongues, we speak out mysteries of God into manifestation! Speaking in tongues is when the we ‘call forth those things that be not, as though they are’ by the Spirit. Every audible word bypasses the physical mind and materialises spiritual realities in our favour! The logical mind doesn’t need to comprehend spiritual realities unless necessary – that’s when the interpretation of tongues is given.

The Rest of God is the state of existence in which you exercise more faith than when you’re trying to do so consciously. It is the place in which the Spirit is constantly working out God’s plan through you. In the beginning, God spoke things into creation, on the seventh day He rested, and even until today creation is held together by His Spirit, without Him having to repeat Himself to sustain it. For he that is entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His. – Hebrews 4:10 (KJV) For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

If someone you know tells you something you know is a lie, you’d pass it off as what it really is – a lie. You know better than to believe lies. Even though it was told you, and you heard it, it still remains a lie. You’d have to act on it to make happen. Until you do something about it, it remains unproductive. In the same way, our mind has been trained over the years to believe what this physical world tells us, instead of what God tells us by His Spirit and Word. We’ve come to believe that the physical, more tangible world is our primary source of information and truth – IT’S NOT. Our world is Eternity. That’s our truth.

Romans 8:38-39 (KJV) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. We can only truly love God with His kind of Love, if we have experienced His love first. His love is not an emotional love. It may evoke emotions in us when we experience Him, but it’s not emotional when He pours it out. Emotions are a human response.

You cannot be any more like Jesus than you are now. You are exactly as He is… He destroyed all imperfections, weakness and flaws at the cross. He became our inadequacies so we could be complete. You are perfect in everything. You are flawless, whole, indestructible. You are one with the Spirit of Life. You are soaking abundant Life. There is no deterioration or decay of any form in Abundant Life.

We can only believe information we have received. There are only two sources of information – the physical world, and the Father. The world can only give us information about the physical realm. It cannot reveal Spiritual realities. Only the Spirit can give us Revelation about Eternity – our identity and Jesus! Our belief system is a product of the information we receive, and our lives are a product of our belief system!

As sons, we have the Spirit of sonship because of whom we can call God, Father. Experiencing the reality of Jesus, the person, in a tangible living relationship is why we can manifest Him confidently. Jesus lives in and through us. Our mind is His mind. Our heart is really His heart. We know the Father through the Spirit of Jesus. He gives us that revelation of true relationship. We can experience that relationship through His heart and mind.

Your mind may periodically paint a reality with information it gathers from our physical world and it’s different from what your Father tells you. It’s not the truth and it doesn’t matter! It doesn’t matter if it comes into your mind, it doesn’t matter if you still think about it. You are spirit — that’s your reality. That’s all you know, and it’s all that matters. Your reality is what your new nature tells you, not what your mind says!

God exists out of time. He sent Jesus to bring us to Eternal Life. A life that does not subject us to time, but rather empowers us to use time as a tool. Time is a created entity. It came into existence when God created the world. He created it to be an indicator of times and seasons. It was designed to inform- not dictate. The fall perverted this tool to produce the curse of ‘urgency’ which in-turn caused a riptide of negative effects in the lives of man.

However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you… and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority… — Romans 8:9; Colossians 2:10. This world can add nothing to you, and it can take nothing away from you! You are spirit. Your existence is Spirit. Your physical presence here is the connecting link between Eternity and this physical world. Physical creation manifested out of Eternity.

Life is about being aware of Him. It takes absolutely NO effort on your part to make yourself aware of Him. He creates that awareness for you. Every time your mind takes you to Him, or you find yourself thinking of God, its Him making you aware. Your response will be to enjoy Him and live Him. This awareness is the experience of the reality of eternity — the experience of the reality of the Father as lived by Jesus. He is making you aware of the Father.
