— Identity —

The Armour of God is the state of existence in which the New Man dwells. It is a conscious state of being in which we are called to ‘stand’ and rest.

Put on the new man, which is created according to God in righteousness and true holiness. – Ephesians 4:24.

It’s not something we take off and put on again… it’s the way we are created. – We have come to the knowledge of the truth by which we have been set free. (John 14:6)
– We have been made the righteousness for God in Christ Jesus. (2Corinthians 5:21)
– We have peace given to us by Jesus, the Word – a peace that surpasses all understanding. (Philippians 4:7)
– We have the faith of Jesus. He gave us His faith and exercises it for is as well. (Galatians 2:20, Hebrews 12:2)
– We have the assurance of Salvation. (John 3:36)
– We have the Word of God by which we live in the Spirit. (Hebrews 4:12)
– And we have by the Spirit who makes intercession for us as we pray in tongues. (Romans 8:26-28)

We have been given the armour as something to consciously live in.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. – Galatians 5:1.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. – Galatians 5:25.

Stand firm in Him.
