Know your inheritance as Sons of God, be established in your identity and manifest Heaven on Earth!
How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? – Hebrews 9:14.
The life of all flesh is in the blood. The wages of sin is death! The shedding of blood in the old covenant represented the death of the sacrifice in the place of the sinner. His conscience of every sin committed during the course of the previous year was cleansed of guilt. This was a temporary sacrifice made annually until he died.
Also the priest that represented the nation of Israel had to purify himself before entering the Most Holy place. He was the representation of all Israel in that place. He stood for them. If he was found guilty, all Israel was condemned.
So it’s the high priest and the sacrifice – both had to be perfect in order to complete a perfect annual atonement. Even if they were perfect, their atonement was only for a year – until the next year.
Jesus entered the Most Holy place, as both the High priest and the sacrifice. He entered with His own blood. He was sinless when He stood as us before the Father.
He was the perfect ETERNAL sacrifice. Now it’s not an annual forgiveness we have received – it’s an eternal atonement. Sin has been completely destroyed over our life – forever!
A clear conscience to live and approach the Father!
